Publication of Cancer Incidence in Five Continents (CI5), Volume XI (PDF)
IARC Scientific Publication No. 166: Cancer Incidence in Five Continents, Volume XI
Edited by Bray F, Colombet M, Mery L, Piñeros M, Znaor A, Zanetti R, Ferlay J
The PDF publication is now available via IARC Publications. The CI5 series, a collaboration between the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the International Association of Cancer Registries (IACR), presents comparable data on cancer incidence for all countries around the world for which high-quality data have been made available by population-based cancer registries.
CI5 is an invaluable source of information about the global burden and distribution of cancer. CI5-XI has a wider coverage than any previous volume, presenting high-quality standardized data for cancers diagnosed during the period 2008–2012 from 343 cancer registries in 65 countries. The data published in all 11 volumes of CI5 are also accessible on the CI5 website, where users can explore the incidence figures and trends using online analysis tools.
Please see CI5 under our Publications tab for more details.

The IACR Online Directory and Using the Registries Portal
Accurate contact details are essential to ensure good communication with the membership and to have an online presence for the registry.
The registries portal (https://cinportal.iarc.fr) and the IACR website is designed to allow all registries and members to upload and update not only contact details but the registry profiles, descriptions and featured reports and publications. This is one of the benefits of being a member of the Association: webpages and publicly-available information about your registry that could be useful for establishing contacts with other registries, institutions and researchers.
All IACR member-registries have the access and login details. Credentials can also be obtained from the IACR Secretariat through This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You are invited to make full use of this online facility.
