IACR Elections 2022 (15 Aug-10 Sept)

Elections are set among all voting members for the seat of the President-Elect; and among those in the applicable region for the Regional Representatives of the Association’s Board (Article IV of the IACR Constitution) for 2022.

Voting Dates: Up to 30 September 2022  

Voting will be conducted electronically, via the IACR Registries Portal. The voters will need their registry username and password to connect to the portal. Registries who have submitted data will have already received a login to access the portal. Detailed instructions are available on the portal. Following the Association’s 2016 Constitution and after the postponement of elections in 2020, the Board of Directors has called for and announced the holding of elections for 2022.  Nominations have been received for fill-in the posts of outgoing officers:

  • President-Elect
  • One (1) regional representative (RR) for Africa, to replace outgoing RR Mohamed Tsairi (Tunisia)
  • Two (2) regional representatives for Asia, to replace outgoing RR’s Rajesh Dikshit (India) and Young-Joo Won (S. Korea)
  • One (1) regional representative for North America, to replace outgoing RR Donna Turner (Canada)
  • One (1) regional representative for Latin America, second representative with current RR Luis Euardo Bravo (Colombia) 
The IACR Nomination Committee was led by Tomohiro Matsuda and assisted by the rest of the IACR Board in securing the candidates for the above listed posts.  The Committee provided an excellent slate of candidates, as follows:
