Thanks to the Austrian and South Thames cancer registries, the new version of the IARCcrgTools (Version 2.01, July 2005) package corrects the following mistakes found in the IARC-CHECK program:
  1. The ICD-O-3 code 8261/0 is considered as an unlikely combination of histology and behaviour codes. This is corrected in version 2.01.
  2. The histological codes 9061 and 9080 are considered as unlikely with age greater than 14 in version 2.0. They are now accepted with age greater than 14 in version 2.01.

  4. Mistakes found and corrected in the help section of the IARC-CHECK program:
    • Site/Histology control: The description of family 8 "liver tumours" corresponds to that of family 2 "Stomach tumours".
    • Grade/Histology control: Code 9706 (lines 4 and 6) is not in ICD-O-3.
